Give it a chance to fully dry before you lay to rest.

I think I started seeing drastic changes in my 4th or so month on using both the creams and the pill. Refill your prescription and give it a couple months to fully kick in.

Oh and I use non-acnedogenic or whatever moisturizer to prevent dryness, so Alhumdulilah it works.

Let us know how it goes Sis, I went back to just using Proactives cleanser, the sales lady at the Proactive booth in the mall actually gave me a hard time because I only wanted the cleanser, she was like challenging my reasoning as if I never used it before.....I made a complaint about her later on....Pshhh

Ya, I've been wanting to try tea tree oil for a while now.

I've also heard that it helps in reducing acne?

it is worth trying tea tree oil... put on affected areas overnight.... also steam your face once a week... over the weekend is good and do not use cosmetics for 24 hours after a steam because your pores will be clean and then filling them with gunk will cause more spots


If it is a hormonal thing (doctor should be able to tell you) try pill for few months...ONLY if you have had acne for years and years and nothing has really worked though.


I need something for blemishes and I have a few small pock marks aswell from acne

Soooo its been like a week and the Proactive is working wonders for me , however my skin does feel kind'a dry, no biggie, I may just opt for a better moisturizer.

In terms of the flax seeds I have noticed that it seems to regulate my bowel movements, so thats a good thing. I take 1 tablespoon of grounded flax seeds a day (although I skipped last night). (I mix it with water).

Good progress so far.

I have a zit (I think) under my chin that I have been unable to pop for about half a year. I keep sticking needles in it to drain it, but nothing comes out except blood.


I'm a little worried that I'm stabbing a gland that's in my jaw.
