I've gotten 2 speeding tickets in my life. One of them was waived becuase my spedometer was clearly broken. As the officer was writing me the ticket, it read 30mph, but I was in park. The other was was for going 6 mph over the limit. I was going down a hill, it was 6am, and I was in my night gown taking my sis some stuff she desperately needed at work.

Then there was this one time I got pulled over and given a ticket becuase my beat-up POS was so loud that apparently it violated some noise limit.

I have like, 15 billion speeding tickets to get rid of, currently.

They're also the reason why my license is currently suspended.

I can't afford tickets, or the insurance hike that goes with them. I also have to drive everywhere since getting on public transport is a pain (literally). As for freeway speeding... well... my car just doesn't go that fast anymore....

There are resources available [lawyers, paralegals, ex-cops, system fixers, etc] that can can make everything go away.

That takes time, money, and energy. I'm just too lazy. Better not to get tickets in the first place.

This winter though, I was surprised I didn't get a ticket. The roads were really bad, and I couldn't stop in time for the red light, I ended up running it. The cop was right behind me too, but he didn't give me a ticket.

i do too now

i cant get any more tickets. it sucks cuz its such a conscious effort for me to go the speed limit...if im not paying attention i always speed. i either have to use cruise control or purposely drive behind some slowpoke in the right lane.

I concur with Shotgun.

I am an awesome driver MashaAllah but I get ticked off to the most extreme degree if other people aren't as awesome as I am at driving.

-I HATE people who run red lights.
-I HATE people who stroll through stop signs.
-I HATE when people don't yield.
-And I HATE people who ignorantly don't know the damn difference between a yield sign and a stop sign-- stopping on a highway ramp is the most stupidest thing you could ever do. What the hell are you stopping for!? Look as you're merging, if you see traffic is heavy, slow down from the start. There are only very few, and far, instances where it's urgent that you stop on the ramp.
-I HATE people who drive in the passing lane. IT'S THE PASSING LANE FOR GODS SAKE. PASSING. PAS-SING. It makes turning into and out of the lane so hard.
-I HATE people who are able to but won't shift lanes to let a car merge from the ramp [this still doesn't excuse people stopping on the ramp ].
-I HATE people who think they are so freakin cool by driving in between cars to pass one on the highway. You're not cool. You're an idiot. Learn to drive.
-I HATE people who slow down to almost a dead stop to make a normal turn. No. That is not how you turn. You especially don't slow down to a dead stop yards away from your turn.
-I HATE people who make abrupt turns. You're idiots who shouldn't be allowed to drive.
-I HATE people who don't use their blinkers...you people are idiots and shouldn't be allowed to drive either.
-I HATE people who don't move over when an ambulance is behind them.
-I HATE people who drive with their brights on in the fog...like what the hell.
-I HATE people who don't know how to park.

lol today i was turning left out of a small road, into another small road..and this idiot driver just decides to try and turn in, in front of me.....which meant i coudlnt get out..and if i, id prolly end up hitting one of the parked cars on the side

anyhu im all as it is....but what ticked me off is that oen of the dudes behind the idiot car, motions me to come out..

im already crawling out using clutch control..so him doing THAT just ticked me off....he wasnt trying to help..it felt patronizing.so i rolled the window down and shouted he aint 'my driving instructor %$£%£$%£$%'

That got me into an accident once. I pulled over properly, the car next to me pulled over to the left, instead of the right, where there was plenty of space. Left a tiny space for the ambulance to weave through, and in trying to avoid hitting him, the paramedic ended up hitting me. Took out the back corner of the car.

Unfortunately, that car got squished by a tanker truck a few months later.

I hate people who don't get the hell off MY street, MY road, MY highway when they see me in their rear-view mirror. I drive like I own the road for a good reason, jerk.
