Auto Detailing Tips & Tricks
I had a bad experience at a car wash today & I'm planning on never letting anyone touch my car again. Plus, it's much cheaper to detail the car yourself & you know you'll do a good job..
So I picked up a couple of buckets & some Zaino products. I'm thinking I'm going to need a handheld vacuum for the interior as well.
Does anyone here detail their own cars or have any experience, interior-wise especially? If so, what products do you use, what steps, etc etc..

To some people, a car is more than just a transportation appliance. When these people drive, they become part of the car. It's a very unique man-machine relationship. And it inspires those who experience it to take care of their cars.. you take care of the car, the car will take care of you.
I wouldn't expect a girl to understand.

You don't operate/interact symbiotically with a piece of clothing or a shoe. You just put it on and that's it. After that, it's just sitting there. A piece of clothing or a shoe has never quickened one's pulse or made anyone's heart pound.
Anyway, all of that aside, here's the method I'm going to go with:
- Wash with car wash soap
- Mild polish on wheels
- Use a clay bar on the car
- Polish
- Apply sealant/wax
The interior will be vacuumed & sprayed with leather cleaner/protectant. Dash will be wiped down & q-tipped where necessary.

the only time i can think of a piece of clothing or a shoe causing someone's pulse to quicken or whatever is maybe if someone else is wearing it, but that's a different matter
