oh, they also tried to drive it with the e-brake up. i was greatly displeased. it was a crappy carwash, but still, i'm not taking chances anymore.
plus, doing your own detailing is much cheaper than paying for it, and you get to do it more often..

I'm serious. I was thinking about this the other day. It's like the car is a protective box but it is you. On the road it is the representation of you. Kind of like an avatar or a username on a forum.

Re: Auto Detailing Tips & Tricks
How do I get rid of the water spots that are left on my car after a wash? They're everywhere and it looks like I didn't wash it at all. I've tried hand drying it and took it those car wash places but it still doesn't come out. Do I just need to polish it?

You know what wheelworks, a wise person once described you to me. You're like that annoying booger that you try to flick off your finger, you flick and you flick but the damn thing is still there..why do you have to be that annoying booger?

One of these days I'm going to pay someone to clean my car. I'm going to pay them because I don't care enough to do it myself.

You should try it. I did it for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Gave it to these Nigerian guys who do the hand car wash in the supermarket carpark. They did a pretty good job, cleaned it inside and out. And it only cost like £12 (about US$24).

I have a Dirt Devil cone vac that I keep around for random messes. It works well for in-between cleanings of the car. You can also use it to clean the vents.

I was thinking more along the lines of a full auto detailing service. I've had the car for 5 years, and in all that time I think I've only vacuumed it 2-3 times, and never taken it through a car wash. DOn't get grossed out or anything, I keep the car clean, but after a while it just gets dusty. I need to take it to a car wash anyway, what with all the salt they put on the roads here.
