Like it a lot. I've heard rumors of a G37x coupe coming out. That would be awesome.

Re: The most beautiful cars ever made
the clutch in the g37 sucks. the 5 speed auto version is ok, though it's not state-of-the-art.
the g35x w/ the sport package is a very nice car, especially for the money.

With few exceptions, old cars are lame. New cars are more powerful, have better handling, drive better, have more features, better components, etc etc.. they are simply better in every possible way.

That made no sense.
I wonder if they'd run over an annoying moron more efficiently?

What part didn't make no sense? More people drive now than ever before and in some places there are barely any pedestrians. The cars are so efficient that most people feel the need to get in them and drive two blocks instead of walking if they need to.
donchaknow

That doesn't mean that someone driving old car A will get fatter than someone driving new car B. More people driving now has nothing to do with cars being more efficient.
Further, I'd say more people probably seek alternate forms of transport now than they did prior to the 1970s oil crisis. There are just more cars now because there are more people.

but its probobly going to be an automatic since the g35x is only automatic. maybe their awd system doesnt work well with manuals...
if they make a manual, awd g37x coupe, that would be awesome....

Go with a 335xi instead. BMW's latest iteration of xDrive is the best AWD system in the industry (better than Audi's Quattro, even) & it comes standard with a slick, smooth shifting manual gearbox. Plus it's faster, handles better, and suffers from much less drivetrain loss than the AWD version of the Infiniti.
Which isn't to say the Infiniti isn't nice.. it would've been my second choice. It's definitely better (and a much better value) than the Lexus IS-series or the Benz C Class.

Like I said, there are exceptions.. though I'm not a big fan of 70s muscle cars so much anymore, though I still like a few (for the pleasure of 1/4 mile burnouts).
Some of my favorite classics:
(1972 Porsche 911 RS.. this one has '73 RSR bodywork on it)
1954 Mercedes Benz 300SL "Gullwing Coupe"
