Re: Nissan GT-R coming to USA!
I'd rather buy a 20 grand BMW motorcycle and go from 0-100 in ten secs.

Re: Nissan GT-R coming to USA!
Nissan intends this to be a 911 killer, and it looks like it will be very successful. It's a hot car. I'm just wondering if they're gonna be selling these out of Infiniti dealerships & having Infiniti mechanics working on them, or what.

Re: Nissan GT-R coming to USA!
I don't want to sound like an ass or anything, but I've known the GT-R was coming to America for the past two years. That's why this car was so hyped up because now it's legal and is now people can legally have one (if you can afford it)

I think it was pretty much common knowledge
I've heard the US version actually handles sharper, because the left-hand drive means the driver's weight offsets some of the weight on the right side vs adding to it, making the car more balanced.

Re: Nissan GT-R coming to USA!
There also have been rumors about the GT-R in SUV form (to compete with the Porsche Cayenne):
But Nissan has not confirmed this.

Astaghfirullah!
Meanwhile, I like the BMW X6:
The performance better than a Porsche Boxter, while carrying the whole family and a month's worth of groceries and getting 19 mpg.
Unfortunately, this SUV craze is getting silly. Lamborghini, Ferrari, Jaguar, and Bentley are all scheduled to get SUVS.

Re: Nissan GT-R coming to USA!
My initial dilemma in liking this car was that it drove like a 150k car, but looked liked a 40k car. Saw it at the Auto Show in Chicago, and boy, was I wrong. For 70k this car is money. It has the same double clutch transmission seen in the Bugatti Veyron.
I also heard that Nissan is trying to limit the mark up on this car.
The caveat of all this talk being that I won't be able to afford one anytime soon.
