Bicycle safety
Just out of curiosity, what do you guys think are safe practices for commuting by bicycle on the street?
p.s. from my experience, most drivers do not understand it and thus get irritated at my 'insolence' when I'm actually following the law

Everyone (I assume) drives a car. I'm just asking for a lay(wo)men's opinion on what the rules of the road for bicycles are. Most drivers are clueless nutters who don't bother to check the law and just assume they're right donchaknow
Heck a lot of silly dunderheads think cyclist should ride on the sidewalk and that it's the law

Wear a helmet
You should use reflectors or wear something that makes you visible
Oil your chain and adjust your brakes regularly

i cant standddddddddd bikers on the road. seriously,i want to run them over everytime. theyre always in the damn way.

My bike does not have any brakes. Or rather it has a front brake only but I rarely use it. Guess what kind of a bike it is

stay in the friggin bike lane. it's there for YOU. USE IT. don't bike outside the lane and make me want to throw something at you as I'm forced to navigate around you.

If there's debris in the bike lane, I won't use it (as stated in the law). I usually take the entire right lane to FORCE the cars behind me to navigate around me. My life isn't worth any drivers convenience
p.s. and learning the rules and laws that pertain to cyclists helps too donchaknow

Get with the programme, dude. buy a car, or a rocket-propelled jetpack.
