I have a ton of friends who've done that. The price seemed pretty steep, but they had two months to go wherever they wanted... something like that.

Let me know when the Old and New Worlds are all connected via rail. I'm scared to death of heights and would really prefer not to fly if there's another option available.

I can hear all the stat monkeys telling me now that flying is more safe than driving. Yeah, because being pressure-locked inside of an oversized tuna fish can with wings which is filled with the most potent, flammable liquid known to man and expected to fly miles above the planet is safe. Somehow I don't think it's what Orville and Wilbur had in mind.

Travelling by train in Europe depends on where you are going. Some countries have great cheap railways (Germany, France), in other countries its poor and/or overpriced (UK, Italy, Spain, and anywhere eastern Europe). Trains in Europe do have their fair share of nutters and a lot use them as public lavatories.

Dry your eyes princess, I was humouring you. Any reference to an armpit is just asking for a hair related joke. Now don't get me started on jungle..

"interrail" is different. you pay for one "interrail" ticket and u can use it for going anywhere in Europe. the ticket is valid for one month. u wont need another ticket within that time. thats the moral.
