California BayArea. That particular bike is for commuting. It can carry up to about 200 lbs and still handle well

Yea. It started out as a separate assembly that one could attach to a bike, but they devoloped a whole bike with the assembly as part of it. It's popular in commters circles.

Maybe you can help me. I was biking for several months and I'm pretty healthy but I kept getting an aching pain around my knees on inclines. Even when it's not that steep at all.

I'm pretty tall so I've got the seat very high but I read somewhere that it happens because of an incorrect riding position so you should go to a professional bike fitters to get the best fit. That's too expensive for me and I only cycle locally.

Any inexpensive ideas?

Minor mm adjustments to the saddle and the pedals helps loads. The more you move your saddle back the more power you can generate.

What pedals do you use? One with toeclips or the clipless ones? If it's clipless, adjust the tightness of it so you can move your feet around in the pedal more.

The saddle moves back? I thought it was just up and down. And power is an issue. I don't seem to be getting enough. Other cyclists pedal slower than me and still go faster no matter what i do with the gears.

The pedals are clipless. What am I supposed to adjust the tightness of?

There should be a screw on the side of the pedal where you can adjust the twisting motion of your cleat when it's attached to the pedal.

As for the Saddle, there is a limited forward to back adjustment of a few centimeters where the seatpost clamps to the saddle rails.

Can you teach me how to ride a bike? I've had a deprived childhood.
