Company unveils Islamic Cars
A company called Proton has revelead its intentions to make an Islamic Car that will provide a compass and a place for Quran and Hijab. However, in my blog I talked about how this doesn't make any sense if a car can't make prayer easy and ablution (wudu) easy and how a Muslim car should be environmentally friendly. I think this is just a way to get Muslim sentiment to make a crap load of money. What do you think? |

If they don't glow in the dark and give off ice-cream as exhaust, I'm not impressed.
Seriously, what is the point of having a compass in the car that points to Mecca? Would anyone here use it?

I can get a compass with a suction cup to put on the dashboard for 1.99 at Rite Aid.
My wife can put her hijab anywhere in the car, however when she's in the car, it's usually on her head.
And why would you have a special place for the Qur'an in your car? You're DRIVING!
