Re: 2009 F-150
That's actually the Ford Super Chief concept truck. It's not the next F-150, but I'm sure we will see that grill show up in the 2009 F-150. We'll probably see most of this in the new Superduty.
Here's the 2010 Chevrolet Impala:
2009 Chevrolet Nomad/Traverse (Chevy still hasn't decided name):
2010 Camaro:
and 2011 Lincoln MKR:

Re: 2009 F-150
i never thought i'd say it, but i like the 2010 camaro. the 2009 f150 though? feels like another product of ford trucks in their downward spiral.

Ford has been the #1 truck seller in America for the past 30 years in a row. They sell more trucks than anyone. I'd say they are on top. Chrysler sells more minivans than any other company in the world, while GM gets more critisism than anyone else in the world (let us not forget the Pontiac Aztec)

Hippy!
j/k.
The new Toyota Prius is due in 2 years, and they're trying to squeeze 100 mpg out of it.

Re: 2009 F-150
ahh the beautiful aztec heh, your right! i was mainly talking about looks, but yea the v8 for most of the american trucks are tops as far as reliable and stuff, but now that nissan, toyota and honda have been much more into producing trucks...we'll see.

Re: 2009 F-150
Once you get used to Japanese and German Cars I don't think you go back to domestic cars. They are just ahead of american cars. In '60 and '70 they would laugh at Japanese cars but time has changed. So in every category there is better import car.
If you talk about trucks you have Tundra and Titan.
I don't know if anybody watches the show 'Top Gear'. I know Jeremy Clark exaggarates sometimes but sometimes is right.
Look at the Ford Lightening test drive:

Re: 2009 F-150
lol yea he hates it, and he's right, always go non-domestic here in the states! I would never buy an american car...unless maybe the brand new corvettes. they are just too riduclously fast.

Actually, Tonka is the #1 truck seller in America. And they have more credibility than Ford does.
Seriously though, there isn't anything an American vehicle does that its German, Italian, or Japanese counterparts don't do better.
The F-150s Japanese counterpart is the Toyota Tundra, a superior vehicle in every way.
