Re: Do any islamicians build up their cars?
I'm planning on buying a supercharged Chevrolet HHR SS:
I want to get mine in black with a red interior.
They cost about $15,000, and I already have $7,000 saved up. Some day, inshallah.

Get one of those old Honda Accords. They practically run for ever with minimal maintenance

It certainly does have an interesting look. I love the retro hot rod look to it. Besides, I'm very loyal to General Motors. Basically any car I buy will come from GM (Chevrolet, Saturn, Cadillac, Buick, Saab, Pontiac, etc)

Ouchie. Those kinds of cars tend to prioritize looks over function and quality

Not any more. Bob Lutz (the new president of General Motors) is bringing out so many drastically better products. For example, look at Saturn:
Pre-Bob Lutz Saturn:
Post-Bob Lutz Saturn:
Seriously, GM cars are starting to get really good. We saw Cadillac change their lineup, and look at how stylish their cars are. Saturn went through a overhaul, and now Buick is starting to drastically change their lineup with far stylish and upscale models.
GM has a very bright and positive future.

They are stepping up quality too. They are offering better layout and design, along with better materials. These are the new GM interiors:
2008 Buick Enclave interior:
2008 Cadillac CTS interior
2008 Chevrolet Malibu interior
2008 GMC Acadia interior.
Also, I saw sneak peeks at the interiors for the 2010-2011 models, and those are incredible. Very futuristic. I'll try and find the pictures.
Not to mention all the new GMs have reliablity comparable to Toyota.

How many HP(at the wheels) you have on that car?
This car reminded me a story. When I had a BMW 540i some turbocharged integra tried to mess with me in the highway. He was so confident that he was gonna win
Well he forgot that turbo is not all the story. I dropped it to 5th gear. I went throught some curves with 125-130 MPH. He didn't even go that fast around the curves because he knew he would kiss the walls. After I put few 'Bus length's on him I slowed down to take the exit. Then as usual he gave a fly by. I always say if you put a turbo you should put some good suspension too otherwise you can just go to the racetrack and show some good quartermile time. That's all. In curvy roads good suspension will beat you.

Re: Do any islamicians build up their cars?
Not sure about at the wheels but the at the crank its about 260 hp. yea the ricer fly by does suck. My friend from work bought himself a 540 and we raced; it was fun. raced from a standstill to 120 and i had him by a couple of car lengths. Then we raced on the freeway and after 120 and my couple of car lengths lead; he started to close the gap. around 145mph he was about 1 or 2 car lengths behind me. We shut it down then. yea suspension is very important and many people only think about straight away speed. My upgrades on suspension are the H&R Sport Springs (1.75 front drop, 1.5 rear), adjustable Koni/Neuspeed Sport Shocks, type R rear sway bar, Quaife LSD, Konig Helium rims, and very important some falken azenis tires. I'm gonna try and find an old video of the GSR at buttonwillow's racetrack! You'd have a ton of fun going to a racetrack like it. The curvies are awesome. Tell me you still have the 540 or something like it! I've been thinking about getting one as they are decently fast!
