Re: Do any islamicians build up their cars?
the previous owner that did all of the engine work did, i think he said it was like 13.5 or so. later on I did all of the suspension work on the car and i went to an actual road track which is by far ten times more fun!

Re: Do any islamicians build up their cars?
Lol, nahhh. I get frustrated very easily. I tried driving stick in a parking lot and after a few times of stalling that was enough for me. Never again.

Funny part is that only in US people drive automatic cars. Wherever you go around the world people drive manual cars. Because a lot of people don't have access to manual car so driving it becomes a big deal. But it's not. And I think the problem is that people who teach the others drive standart car are not good thats why
I learnt how to drive when I was 15 with manual car. But I drove automatic for long time and my last 2 cars are manual again. If you wanna play around with other cars you have to learn to be a good shifter otherwise just the car itself is not enough.
A lot of people think if the car is manual is always is fast but that's not true. Depends on the engine size, HP and torque.

Why do people bother to make the engines so powerful that you go 0-60 in 2 seconds or whatever. The speed limit on most roads is 35-40 unless you are on the highway.

Yeah, but automatic is easier than manual. Manual requires a whole lot more energy, is much more tiring, but I have been told by those I know who love manual that it's a more entertaining driving experience.
I was late in learning how to drive. I never wanted to drive, so I was forced into it. Now that I finally did start to drive, I love it and aren't afraid to anymore.
When I was in the market for buying a car, I was shocked to realize that it costs more to purchase an automatic than a manual.

Depends where you drive. A friend of mine while testing my car hit 100 MPH on 45 limit(that was 3 gear).
I have done 150 on 65 before. If you gbet caught with that kind fo speed they suspend your licence. I know. But when there is no police people mess around and check what their cars can do

It makes sense because with automatic you don't bother to change the gears. It like manual windows and power windows

i can see what your saying. some people have no interest in that kinda stuff, they maybe just like to make their car look good, or better.
But some people(me, albano and many others) like to get to that 70mph speed limit on the freeway in about 6 seconds or less . its just a rush i guess. now my ultimate car that I would like to get is called the ariel atom; it is obviously expensive, 60k or so. But will beat about 99.9 percent of the cars on the road. It looks awesome, two seater...supercharged k20 (i cant believe theres no drool smiley!!!)

Re: Do any islamicians build up their cars?
in any other state then cali it is almost street legal, very few modifications if not none...but freakin cali has some that i've been looking into, hopefully as it becomes more popular the kits that will be used to make it street legal will become more available and cheaper.
But yes it can be done and has been done.
