Ya I heard sami yusuf's song for the first time in 'The Kite Runner' when Amir prays in masjid over in pakistan. i thought it was an amazing song. very deep and moving. i think 'islamic rock' is a great idea, christians have been doing it for years. plus this song wasnt some type of preachy song that you usually would hear. it was more poetic than anything.

GOT5, Sumiya kind of has a point. I mean it was a very childish immature way of putting it, but she is for the most part correct! You are too insecure and immature for any woman to respect you. You believe that you are some kind of Ogre which is the exact reason women stay away from you. I bet you could have had PLENTY of women over the course of your life, yet you are a 32 year old virgin! because that's what these desi women have told me most of my life. yes I am a virgin at 32. because i wasted most of my 20's chasing after these nasty attitude desi chics, all because i lived in a fantasy world, where i thought if i could have a l.t.r. with one - that it would lead to marriage later on down the road. When I was younger, I was foolish, and I was like many 'abcds', I was totally dead set against the concept of arranged marriage. Mostly because I let my own fear's rule me and I didnt know how it worked. Now that I am older, I have learned to accept my fate, that I will be stuck in a marriage, to a greedy little wench, who will give me no nookie, and demand money out my wallet and use me as an atm machine, like so many other desi guys before me. That's a fact that I am willing to accept, I guess i figure, well maybe at least ill get to see her naked. And since I cannot afford a middle class girl, living in her 3 bedroom single family home, and a fricking honda in the driveway as a family car, at least thank god i still have the option of a cabbie's daughter dwelling 8 people in a cramped apt. You know what a trophy wife is to me? someone who would actually give two dams about me and actually care about me. but I know with a desi chic, thats like asking for the sun and the moon.

and you know what, given how old i am now, i would wait till my wedding night and honeymoon to turn in my v-card. at least im obeying the laws of the quran, and I can say that im 100% positive that i am free of any diseases or any std's, such as herpes or gonnerah, which people who are sexually active, cannot proclaim.
