I used to play the violin back in the fourth grade. I was really good at it.

I had a strong temper back then, though. I used to break the bow whenever I got angry.

Soon, my parents stopped buying new ones.

Then I broke the violin too.

The end.

I used to play the violin when I was in primary school, but gave up because I was not being "stretched" with exams (I gave up alot of things if I was not being entered for exams) I also played the piano, that continued into my teenage years, I wouldn't say I could play the violin now, but I can still tinkle on the piano. But I still have my violin, no piano anymore.

I was in the fourth grade. All I knew was breaking stuff.

Nowadays, I wish I had the violin as well as a real piano. I'd love to be great at all instruments, as a matter of fact.

i played violin for five years.
i got pretty good, but then i stopped having time to practice... and it snowballed. i was afraid of how out of practice i would sound, so i didnt practice. my violin (an absolutely gorgeous, ridiculously expensive one i'd persuaded my parents to get me) sat unused for a year or two, until my parents took it back to the violin shop to be re-sold, when i left for college. a few months ago, they got a phone call that someone had bought it

it was all my fault though. i should have kept with it. now i miss it and want to pick it up again

Violins are cool. I like them best when there's a lot of them all together.

my cousin was teaching me how to play, but we got into a big fight and that was the end of it. I preferred composing music anyway.

I've always wanted to learn the violin but my parents wouldn't finance it. Maybe I should buy one for myself and become an autodidact violinist. How do you go about buying a violin? What should you look for and what's a good price?
