Man it wasnt THAT bad. Considering their earlier work yes it doesnt compare, and the drums sound HORRIBLE, but its still alot better than most of the schlock being put out today. I especially love the way Hetfield sings Invisible Kid.

St Anger was bad, it seemed like most the songs were half done hiowever I like the lyrics on most the songs. The drums sounded like bum.

YOU have Kirk Hammet who is known for his Wah Wah pedal yet they didn't let him play properly. That was kind of silly. However the Album sold well and proves that you don't really need to play properly to make money in teh Music Biz.
