Re: 100 Greatest Songs of the '90s
The only reason Smells Like Teen Spirit is number one is because Kurt Cobain blew himself up with a shotgun. Jeremy is more worthy of the slot. So is One. How the hell did the Backstreet Boys get into number three?! And Whitney Houston? That song is overdone and overdramatic!

Yeah, because 'black & in the city' is the only other possible cultural paradigm that could be associated with (a) genre(s) of music.. Not that you have any reason to assume your statement is correct to begin with.

I wasn't referring to anything specific. My statement necessarily included everything that didn't hold all of the named values (white, suburban, and North American) by virtue of how it was stated. If you can't think of anything besides 'white, suburban, and North American' and 'black and in the city,' you are either slow or sheltered.

Obviously you'd stick by it, since you're dumb. My point was that you don't have any reason to assume your statement is correct to begin with. But again, since you're dumb, that doesn't matter to you.

I'd ask you to point out how my "arguments" were weak, but given your simplemindedness, your failure to successfully refute anything I said doesn't necessarily mean my "arguments" were strong.

Saying that you have no reason to believe what you said is easily established by the fact that you don't know me personally & never had any idea what my musical preferences were in the 1990s whatsoever. If you're going to make a statement like that, the burden of proof is on you to establish its correctness.
