I got a whole bunch of books from the library. Am stocking up for the holidays, heh.

Some of them I've read already but that was a while ago and I wanna read 'em again. Some of them have been recommended by friends.

The Namesake- Jhumpa Lahiri
Tamarind Mem- Anita Rau Badami (re-read)
God of Small Things- Arundhati Roy (re-read)
Shame- Rushdie (re-read)
100 Years of Solitude- Gabriel Garcia Marquz (re-read... isn't it amazing?)
Of Love and Other Demons- Garcia Marquez
Love in the time of Cholera- Garcia Marquez
17 Tomatoes: Tales from Kashmir- Jaspreet Singh
The Inheritance of Loss- Kiran Desai
Never Let Me Go- Kazuo Ishiguro
Cyrano de Bergerac

My Old Man- Amy Sohn
The devil wears Prada- Lauren Weisberger
And three books by Shoba De

Also wanna get through some Naipaul and re-read more of Rohinton Mistry. And finally get around to reading The Satanic Verses.

Can't wait to get started on these. I started a couple already, and missed my bus stop 'cause I was reading one.

I read that too. Great book, terrible movie. Makes you really appreciate water and the size of our 'worms' now doesn't it?

yeah..I liked it, too.

was reading the gatecrasher, which is by sophie kinsella aka madelaine somethingorother. it sucked. I was expecting laugh-out-loud humor like shopoholic's. nope.

then I started reading the secret life of josephine but after she hooked up with napoleon I tossed it under the bed.
