Amazon.ca: Books: ****: A Declaration of Independence
Meh. I dunno. I was never really exposed to the word growing up, but okay, I guess there's a need to reclaim it.
Poorly written at times, but overall, she makes some good points. Shows you that the patriarchy (yes, in our culture) is alive and well. I like her insights about menstruation and rape and a couple of other things... not agreeing so much with her thoughts on birth control/abortion.
Still, it's good. In a different way, if you're used to reading feminist theory.
