That's a good book, but i wish it was more detailed. It's only short glimpses of the Sahabah in action, and I would love to know more about such sahabah as Al-Qaqa, and others who were praised for their courage and described as 1000 men by themselves. Subhanallah

Re: What Are You Reading?
Asalamu Alaykum,
The Amulet of Samarkand. First from the Bartimaeus Trilogy. Extremely funny, I was surprised I liked it so much.
I recommend it to fans of Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia etc. Its more of an young adult reading material, but a very funny fantasy book.

"The Lovely Bones" has just arrived. I want to read the book before the movie comes out.

^by the way, this book was incredible. it's written in a lively tone and the subject itself is fascinating. i highly recommend it.
currently reading
a study of street vendors and homeless people in NY's Greenwich Village. it stopped being interesting after about 100 pages, and now im just trying to finish it for the sake of finishing it.

Re: What Are You Reading?
Does anyone have a good suggestion as to what I should read next?
