I don't see how a discussion about the PPP turned into this.

But GotFiveonit: Maybe they want a religious guy for their daughter because she's religious? Siblings can be really different from one another. Or maybe because they have an alcoholic son, they don't want an alcoholic son-in-law?

I think at some point, when the kids are grown, then it's not the parents' fault anymore for how they are. Because they're adults who've made their own decisions and there's really not much you can do to discipline grown children.

We know a few families who have one or two "bad apples" and it doesn't effect the reputation of the parents or prevent the other siblings from getting married. It's just when the whole family is corrupt that people start talking.
