Default Re: The Official Make-Up Thread

Salika: Eyelashes are hair and just like the hair on our head, they are prone to damage, drying, and split ends

I read that in a magazine years ago and it made perfect sense to me, and is one of the many reasons why I barely ever use mascara. I love my perfect lashes too much to mess with them.

Oh and I LOVE putting white eye shadow in the beginning part of your eye. Smudging it in with whatever other shadow you're using-- way to make the eyes pop and look more lively.

OH and another thing! I went to the dermatologist [hormones are totally out of wack] and I was reading about the suggested moisturizes and makeup to use for the face. They said to use make-up/moisturizer/soap that is noncomedogenic or nonacnegenic. I was like, eh? So I asked the doctor about it why hypoallergenic isn't mentioned, since that is widely broadcasted on make-up with an added 'dermatologist recommended' and he said that is just has slightly less than the usual crap in it but that it will still cause clogged pores and acne.

And that's when I realized, THAT'S why I break-out anytime I test a 'hypoallergenic' makeup.

So that may mean that I would be able to use, say blush, if it's noncomedogenic or nonacnegenic....but where do I find that?

I found the moisturizer and gentle soap from Cetaphil.
