Well, my main problem is I have no spine. I used to let stuff slide for almost 3 whole months until it got to the point where one roommate assumed I would pick up her monthly waste when it was my turn to clean the bathroom (I left the trash where it was). Every time I have asked them to quiet down, my request had been blatantly ignored or they go on for a little while before quieting down (to prove a point maybe?). I just want a little peace and quiet between 11 pm and Fajr so I can get some rest. Ironically, once when I was cooking (at 9 pm) I turned on the exhaust only to return and find it off. Assuming I must have forgotten and turned it off, I turned it back on. Immediately the louder roommate (whose room is adjacent to mine) yelled from inside her room, "I'M TRYING TO SLEEP, WHATS WRONG WITH YOU!" I was so shocked . Like an idiot, I muttered sorry and went back to my room. I'm such a spineless weakling.

Another thing I'm also tired of is stepping in puddles of water in the bathroom so today I left a note in pink marker with flowers and hearts drawn on it that said "please clean up the water." While cleaning my room tonight I heard them talking in low voices in the living room. I caught words that made me think they were discussing me and one of them said "well she is b****y." So now I think they think I'm a b**** now after all of this, that is why I say I feel like a pest.

I think this has reached the must-move-out level, except I do have my name on a lease that isn't up until July (I'm outta here as soon as school ends in May and subleasing the rest!). I really appreciate the advice though

jells: isn't there a manager or some head person you can discuss this problem with? find one and explain the situation, maybe they could find a way to a better solution
