I know what you mean. I believe that alot of Muslims are greatly devaluing the idea of miracles by hyping up this stupid crap. Let's do a comparison between actual miracles and the other stuff.
Miracle: Rasulullah (salallahu alayhi wa sallam) split the moon.
Not a miracle:
Lion says Allah (even though it really just sounds like a Lion roaring normally).
Miracle: Nabi Isa (alayhis salaam) brought a dead man back to life.
Not a miracle: A bunch of pictures of food that have patterns in them that look vaguely like the name of Allah (azza wa jal).
Miracle: Nabi Musa (alayhis salaam) threw down a stick and it turned into a snake.
Not a miracle:
Some soccer player has a seizure on the field (and lives) and people claim it's the angel of death "ripping his soul from his body". I seem to remember seeing some guy on a forum calling people kaafirs for not believing that the guy had died.
