Default Re: do you guys consider Iran to be a just islamic state?

So... Iran is corrupt, and authoritarian and all that, but for the everyday life of the average Iranian - do they not implement Islamic law as an Islamic state would?

Islamic morals are held up, and shariah - which seems to me to be very similar to regular shariah in most cases - is enforced, no? How would a true Islamic state differ in terms of the everyday person's view of things?

Or is it just the fact that they're Shia, and a Shia country could never be an Islamic country, even though they're implementing Islamic law as pretty much anyone else would?
