I could get upset that you just called me closeminded. I could get upset, if I didn't realise the norms and social rules of Islamica allow people to call others closeminded. Similarily, the norms and social rules of MSAs call for a certain style of doing things, so people who are asked to put out their joint, or wait until later to place their bets, or wear a longer skirt to the MSA, shouldn't get upset. They should just respect that Muslims respect themselves and their bodies, and if they want to be a part of that, they should be respectful of that too.
