shoot, i was going to show you this link by dawn.com. its a pretty objective english paper and has been in circulation for about 60 years. but that link is gone right now. it showed how many seats and what not.

In short, no. The party (PML-Q) that aligned with musharraf lost half of its constituents. PML-Q have won nothing close to what the other two parties won. Benazirs party (PPP) had the most seats, followed by nawaz sharifs (PML-N).

Interestingly, the MMA, the religious wacky party lost everything. Their spectacular demise was even overshadowed by the fact that a secular party overtook them! the ANP. ANP campaigned on changing civil society, preventing further talibanization, bringing back dance and culture which was banned.
