No, there are sincere Sunni Muslims who simply wish to follow the right path, though they acknowledge there are many unacceptable teachings. They disregard these without going openly against it. They pray, fast and pay the charity and all the obligatory duties and want to lead a life on the right path. They have a stronger adherance to the conscience, the inspiration of Allah and can often sift out what to take and not to take using it.
Then there are the strong ones who are heavily influenced by the nuts and crannies and who spend all their lives absorbing whatever detail they could find in Sunni sources including every nerration good and bad cited in the name of religion - and their mindset is built from it. Though sincerity may be there, they trod a path that is often not in conformity with Qur'anic morality and since they dont have this important criterion of the Qur'an to judge, they simply become whatever their sources of religion makes them be.
