MMA didn't stand a chance, because of their infighting...they couldn't agree on whether to take part in the elections or not...some of them boycotted, and others ran without their leader's approval, etc...so they were guaranteed to lose. In any case, even without this chaos in their ranks, they are a party that has lost its popularity completely. Not even religious people want to vote for them.

What is interesting is that Imran Khan boycotted the polls, which seems to have really back-fired on him. He boycotted because he thought it would be a farce and rigged...but it seems that the elections were actually free, fair, and transparent! Musharraf's party is being routed, so it doesn't seem like it was rigged at all. I bet Imran Khan is cursing himself right now for why he didn't run.
