you have to see, mqm is/was involved, like hizbollah is supported by many christians and shias in lebanon, within the social aspects of society in sindh. They built community hospitals, shelters for women, even madrassahs and schools even. These past laurels continue to help them. Even the punjabis and pathans I know in sindh, ESPECIALLY karachi vote for MQM. An odd result, but I just explained why.

Give me a break. The MQM is a bunch of worthless secular thugs. It's great they're supposedly doing so much, since 50% of Sindh's problems can be tied to the existence of the MQM.
Noone who is actually Sindhi votes for the MQM. Most Punjabis & Pathans don't like them that much either.
