Yes, it makes sense that Albania would be the first to recognise, after all Kosovans are ethnically Albanian. Also Turkey has strong links to Kosovo and Albania. I'm pretty sure Pakistan and Saudi would have been among the first to recognise the new state also. Most of the other Muslim countries won't be far behind I'm sure. |
Pakistan will definitely recognise Kosovo. The Pakistani contingent in KFOR were well received by the locals, and there is the political dimension. Kosovo is to Albania what Kashmir is to Pakistan.
