i think it's very medium. meaning, it completely covers any blemishes and imperfections on the face, but it doesn't feel like a mask.
also a good thing about is that it comes in a variety of shades, and if you get a good sales associate, they do a thorough job of finding the right shade.
btw, i just found out that lancome and l'oreal are owned by the same company. i wonder if l'oreals true match foundation W4 would be the same as the lancome W4. if that is the case,i will gladly switch to drug store l'oreal foundation and someone's going to be saving $30 each foundation refill time
