I'd rather be happy and not make any major purchases, rather than distressed with a load full of debt. Some investments just aren't worth the stress.

If I ever need a new car, I'll just save for 4 or 5 years. Till then I'll just drive a used one or bike everywhere (certainly not an impossibility as far as I'm concerned).

Now as for houses. The only way I'll ever buy one is if I get rich. If Allah wills that I don't get rich then who am I to complain about it. Buying luxury houses and cars don't make the world go around donchaknow
