All of us thought it was strange, but we didn't make too much of it. The professor started lecturing. Halfway through, she abruptly stopped and turned towards the whiteboard, asking us: "What do those things have in common?"
All of us stared at her with blank faces. She then said. "
Guys, these are things you do not want to give your sweetheart on Valentine's Day. No matter how much of a bright idea they may sound like in your minds, your girlfriend/wife will NOT be happy."
After our laughter died down, she continued lecturing, only to pause once again 5 min. later.
This time she turned to the other side of the board, looking towards where it said "Dinner coupons" She said, "That's another one. If you have a coupon that says 'Your amigo eats free', we have a problem"
