Default Re: Official Election 2008 thread

Alright.. the fact of the matter is I'm not up to snuff on their platforms. However, (as a Canadian I'm obviously not voting but...) I must say that the candidate in my own opinion who has the most presidential 'aura' about them is Senator Obama. (I think presidential auras are a valid after what we've all seen for the past 8 years)

It kind of sounds like Hillary is trying too hard, and really, after the past few weeks, it feels like we're watching "Bill Clinton for '08".

When it comes to the GOP... what is it? Basically people say McCain if you want security, and Romney if you're more concerned for the economy. Well, if that's the case, strong economy does equal security, and I'm not so convinced anymore that the troop surge that McCain has wrapped himself around so tightly, is nearly so successful as suggested.

But overall, as it stands with my horribly incomplete knowledge, I think I like Obama the best.
