I am not here to gain sympathy points. What other reason are these forums here for, than to discuss how we feel and try to improve our Deen, especially in today's society? I am here to get a gauge on my situation and see if my views about Islamic values are still valid or if I am being too conservative and missed some boat on some new reformed ideals of Islam. I appreciate everyones comments and they have confirmed my feelings that this guy does not really respect mine or Islamic values, and that I will resent him for life if I give in to sinful desires before marriage, because I think it is a slippery slope, and I should never have to compromise.
