Wow. I probably have way more knowledge on the subject than you ever will, just by virtue of my having a female body.
Yes, stimulating the clitoris is important, sure (I neve denied that) but the clitoral hood is there for a reason. It protects the clitoris from overstimulation which can cause discomfort at the least but can even be painful.
