no they dont. you have to either buy a study guide or get one from the public library, which is what i did. the exam itself is pretty easy. its just address checking, matching two addresses. coding, and matching the code guide. the tricky part is the memory. they test you on the coding guide by memory. but the study guide has some tricks on how to pass the memory section. the trick to getting hired is scoring high, very high, like 90% and the exam is timed. you have to fill out as many as you can within a few minutes per section. but this is the way to the corporate office jobs. cuz once your in, im guessing after three months, i could move up into thier I.T. dept. depending on the openings that are available, and internal employees get first dibs on those jobs. its pretty hard to get those high wage i.t. jobs if your not an internal employee. which is why you gotta do all this first. they just want you to know how the company works, which is why they prefer internal employees. the good news is that not too many people who work at the post office hold a college degree. so there isnt too much competition there. in fact just to view what openings are available, you have to enter your employee I.D. on the u.s.p.s. website.

ah i see. good luck on the test. Does the test performance determine where you get assigned and stuff like that? Do mail carriers have lower test scores than people who work at the post offices or the HQ?
