No, I'm sure they do, but there's this stereotype of the typical American tourist in their jean or khaki shorts and sneakers. Think of "mom jeans" (btw, another major fashion crime) only in short form . I was reading an article in a travel magazine about how to be a good tourist, and apparently the consistent complaint about Americans was their way of dressing, and their loudness. But I digress...
