I have always wanted laser eye surgery but have been put off by my parents who freak out at the thought of it, citing eyesight as too precious to risk (which I totally agree with
)
But recently I think this is getting more and more popular and I haven't really heard anything in the news about anyone losing their eyesight over it..
Have any of you corrected your vision through laser surgery?
If so, was it painful, were you told of the risks/what were the risks?
And also, why is it that opticians who wear glasses never get their eyes lasered?
