It's not cardamom (I'm desi, I have jars and jars of cardamom at home, lol)...the leaves of this plant are actually kind of "fuzzy" I'm thinking it might be a type of sage or salvia...a Persian friend had it growing in her garden, but had no idea what it was called in English. She gave me a cutting of it, and it's growing in our garden. In the spring, it gets tiny pinkish-lilac flowes on it.
