I hate extracting teeth.

it's not the blood that bothers me. I don't mind blood. but I hate the amount of brute force involved. give me a handpiece over forceps any day. I do love suturing, though.

you just have to suck it up. it'd be great to be in a profession where you won't make people uncomfortable. tell yourself it's for their own good and grab your elevator. besides. a tooth with class III mobility is very unlikely going to turn into a complex extraction and even if it does, it's fine. he'll be okay.

I had 4 horizontally impacted 3rd molars. was fun.
