Christmas is what you make it. I know a lot of Asian folks and Desi folks that celebrate it, although they aren't Christians. So if what you do is set up a tree, decorate with lights and reindeer on your lawn, and get together with family - then that's what it is to many.
The holiday itself however is most certainly Christian, it celebrates the birth of Jesus. It may be celebrated on different days throughout Christendom, but it's an important day to all Christians.
