MINORITY REPORT: In a nationwide poll, 91% people were against special benefits for Muslims.

Asaduddin Owaisi, an MP from MiM (Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen) in Hyderabad, had a rather interesting take on the reservation debate. "For the past 60 years, we have been given fish, what we are asking is - don't give us fish, teach us how to catch a fish," he said. "I agree that if Muslims are given reservation, Muslims can come socially and educationally. This has been proven in Andhra Pradesh. In the one year that Muslims were given reservations, 385 Muslim students got admitted in MBBS courses."
