i think because maybe people think that if someones going to try and lose weight after pregnancy, theyre going to be required to cut down on calories and therefore miss out on good nutrition..which wouldnt be benefical for the baby.

i think that's a myth..you can get the right stuff and the right amount of calories without having to sacrifice the nutritional quality of your breast milk, but it would be extremely hard for someone whos a new mom to pay taht much attention to diet and exercise what with all the exhaustion...and lack of time. but it can be done im sure.
