Dude, get a work-out partner and go to the gym (I'm guessing you mean the campus gym). You wont be able to do as much in your dorm as you would in the gym. And make a work-out schedule and follow it.

btw, if you're embarrassed of something like not benching as much as the other guys, use the machine for a few months.
