So I'll be stepping back into the kitchen tomorrow and trying out a new recipe- cream of wild mushroom soup. I found portobello and cremini mushrooms but the store was out of shiitake so I bought white button ones. I've never cooked any mushrooms before so not sure how it'll taste. I've heard portobellos are really good. Can mushrooms be washed? I've heard it's better to wipe them with a damp towel. And should the stems be cut off??
and if I have time I'll make rosebud cookies.
