I always thought it was called "pie"...
I really used to like that stuff when I was a kid, but then I found out what it was. I dunno about joints, but I thought it's made from the hooves of... cows? Goats? I dunno.
Doesn't taste too bad, and I'd eat it if there was nothing else.
But we don't cook it too often anyway.
But you know the marrow is the best part.
