Default Scratched Up Windshield
So I broke one of my windshield wipers and used it a couple of times before replacing it (I know....I phail). Now I have scratches on my windshield in the form of 4 long arches from the metal parts of the broken wiper.

I did some googling and I'm going to buy some polishing compound to try to buff the surface scratches away, but does anyone have any recommendations for a scratched up windshield (besides replacing it)?

And if you have no suggestions, then pray that my dad and brothers don't have a heart attack when they see the damage.
