ya i grew up watching those movies too, old 50's and 60's movies, 'around the world', 'mughal-e-azam', 'chalti ka nam gaadi'. i dont watch them today, because they are brainwashing young girls like you. if you claim that bollywood is representative of the culture in south asia, that just shows how you little you know about it. bollywood is a facade and a fantasy. its media aimed at the villagers and the ignorant city slum dwellers who speak no english. the educated elite of bombay and the rest of india, actually perfer hollywood over bollywood.
